Art historian Dr. Pam Sachant will present on artwork of the Spanish baroque.

In conjunction with the exhibition Spirit & Splendor: El Greco, Velázquez, and the Hispanic Baroque (Blanton Museum of Art), this talk looks at the work of 17th-century Spanish painters as part of the larger world of Baroque art in Europe and as particular to the social and religious settings within Spain.
