This month the Lakeway Painters will display their artwork in the meeting room. Years ago, after an inspiring watercolor class given by well-known painter Johnnie Fields, a group of his students enthusiastically established the Lakeway Painters. The group, which continues to grow as new local artists join, meets once a week to paint in a supportive environment and have a friendly critique of each other’s work. Their exhibit at the library will feature the works of several members and will include watercolors, collages, pastels, and more! All are invited to join the Lakeway Painters Art Reception!
