Local author Mary Bryant Shrader will talk about her new book The Modern Pioneer Pantry. Building upon her bestselling The Modern Pioneer Cookbook, Mary returns with her second cookbook which offers a comprehensive guide to preserving food using time-tested methods. 

Mary Bryant Shrader is a bestselling author and self-described “former New York City girl” who discovered the simple life with her husband in the Texas hill country. She’s a modern pioneer in the kitchen who has spent the last twenty-five years teaching friends and fans alike how to make nourishing recipes using traditional methods and whole, seasonal ingredients.
